TEACHER COMMENTS:
“I'm
very impressed with the 1000 Quick Writing Ideas book. I like the ideas for
writing lists and am ready to try them out on my class next year. The
misspelled list of students’ words will come in very handy. I can also use
this list for their spelling words. With my being a special education teacher
for grades K-12 this will be of great benefit for me and my many different
levels of students. Thank you for making life and class work easier on me.” — Carol Anne, USA
“Thank
you for being so quick to answer, and for your fantastic book! I will
be the envy of the crowd at the Xerox machine. I will also give everyone your
web address. Many thanks, 1000 Quick Writing Ideas is more than I
bargained for and I'm getting the bargain!” — Cheryl Shmilovich, USA
“I had no
problem with the downloading and printing of the three books I purchased
(Teacher's Binder, Just Multiply It! and 1000 Quick Writing Ideas). When I
go back to school in a couple of weeks I will share your website with my
colleagues. I teach at Wiiji Nimbawiyaang which is on the Chippewas of the
Thames First Nation west of London. I'll look forward to seeing new
publications. Have a good school year.” — Carol-Anne, (USA)
“I ordered and printed
The Teacher's Binder yesterday- it looks like it will be very helpful. It's
going to be convenient to have everything altogether. Now that that worked
out so well, I will order the Multiplication and the 1000 Writing Ideas
books” — Carol-Anne Dendias,
(London, Ontario, Canada)
“I have used the 1000
Quick Writing Ideas straight away, and they have been a great hit with supply

“I
recommended your products to all my co-workers. . . everyone wants to come
and look through what I have and I tell them where to find you! Thanks
so much for your wonderful products. . . .I am buying the 1000 Quick Writing
Ideas right now! I also use the books as a parent.
My son absolutely loves the Math Time Savers! He likes it that I make
copies of some of the sheets for him, hole-punch them, and put them in his
binder. I have had requests from his teachers about where I got the
sheets from, and of course, I always refer them to your website! If I
had the extra money, I would buy all of your products. . .and over time. . .I
probably will! Thanks so much for taking the time to develop these reproducibles.
. .they truly are TIME-SAVERS!” — Karla N. Evans (Lead Teacher at Dar-un-Noor School, Atlanta,

"Re
1000 Quick Writing Ideas: I photocopied each page 5 times on to card stock. I
will laminate the cards eventually. At the beginning of each writing workshop
I hand out cards randomly to the students. I give them 2 minutes from the
time I finish to choose a prompt and begin writing, then collect the cards. I
choose one too and write as well. Depending on my grade level, I time them
5-15 minutes. Then they are invited it share any part of their writing they
wish. We discuss what we liked and a way to make it better. Sometimes I tell
them to write for their eyes only and no expectation to share is given.
My students are writing with an eye to polishing 5 different pieces for
the end of May, out of all of their current works. The kids have written some
wonderful 'stuff' sparked by the prompts. I can hardly wait to see
their final, polished pieces! “ — Darlene Turnbull, Ecole la Prairie, Red Deer, Alberta,
Canada
“I adapt
the 1000 Quick Writing Ideas (which are very good) as I teach in a 'Young
Offenders Institute' in England. “ — Carol Alderton (England)
“I have
just had a look through 1000 Quick Writing Ideas and it is really good!! I
teach Auslan (Australian Sign Language) and your 1,000 Quick Writing Ideas
are excellent ideas for the students to pick and practice signing for
homework to share the next class. It saves me headaches trying to think of a
topic for them to talk about!! Also, the information in there is very basic
and easy to understand - it is very helpful for deaf students learning
English and writing.” — Susan Ashley, Methodist Language College, Victoria (Australia)
